Welcome to the Osceola church of Christ website

Glorify God in Worship and Service

  • You are sincerely invited to glorify God with us (Isaiah 43:7; Psalm 34:4, 8-9; 50:23; 1 Corinthians 6:20; 10:31; Ephesians 3:21).
  • Worship God in spirit and truth with understanding, reverence and sincerity (John 4:24; 1 Corinthians 14:15; Ephesians 5:17; Psalm 89:7; Hebrews 10:25; 12:28; Joshua 24:14; 1 Corinthians 5:8).
  • Serve God without ceasing. Our work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ is motivated by His tender mercies and regulated by His living word (Matthew 4:10; Romans 12:2; 1 Thessalonians 1:3; Colossians 3:16,17; Hebrews 4:12).
  • Inspired by our Lord's resurrection from the dead we resolve to be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that our labor is not in vain in the Lord (Romans 1:4; 1 Corinthians 15:58).

Evangelism and Edification

  • We seek to teach and practice the will of God without addition, subtraction or substitution (Matthew 7:21; 28:19-20; Mark 16:15-16; Luke 24:47; Galatians 1:8; Colossians 3:17; 2 Peter 1:3; 2 John. 9; Revelation 22:18-19).
  • We intend to be built up and strengthened through the word of God's grace and mutual edification (Psalm 119:28; Acts 14:21-22; 20:32; Ephesians 4:29-30, 31-32; 1 Corinthians 13:4-5, 6-7; John 13:34-35; 2 Timothy 4:2).

Perfecting Holiness

  • We are encouraged and admonished to be blameless servants of righteousness, perfecting holiness in the fear of God and purifying ourselves as we prepare to meet our Creator. We are a work in progress. While walking in the light of His word we confess our sins and are thankful for our Advocate, Mediator and Intercessor. We are not perfect, but must be faithful. (Psalm 31:23; Revelation 2:10; Romans 6:22; 12:1-2; 2 Corinthians 5:10; 7:1; Philippians 2:15; Hebrews 12:14; 1 John 1:6-9; 2:1; 3:3).

  • We are not only to keep ourselves unspotted from the world, but also to be benevolently disposed as accountable stewards of God's resources (Matthew 5:48; 25:35-36, 40; Acts 24:17; James 1:27; 4:17; Galatians 6:10; 2 Corinthians 9:12-13; 1 Corinthians 16:1-2).
Come & See

The Osceola church of Christ is established on a fact-based, historically-documented, biblical faith that transforms people into God glorifying workers in His kingdom (Colossians 1:13-14). It is a faith that pleases God and rewards the faithful (Hebrews 11:6; 1 John 5:4; Romans 10:17; Revelation 2:10). The Lord's people are described as a family of the faith (Galatians 3:26-27; 6:10; Ephesians 2:19; 1 John 3:1). Faith in God and His Word is our focus. LEARN MORE

The family of God is His church and is a product of His love and truth (Ephesians 5:23, 24-25; 1 Timothy 3:15; Acts 20:28). His family assembles throughout the week to praise Him, study about Him and His will and execute it in daily living (Hebrews 3:13; 10:25; Acts 20:7; Luke 9:23). Jesus said, "For whoever does the will of God is My brother and My sister and mother" (Mark 3:35). God's family is to be an example to the world that it is better to live by His truth. Being His family is our focus. LEARN MORE

God's people have a forgiven past, a grateful, obedient present, and a hopeful future. His just nature has provided a plan that will give us an inheritance in heaven (1 Peter 1:3-4; Philippians 3:20). God has given us great confidence through His fulfilled Word (Hebrews 6:17-18, 19-20; 2 Peter 1:19). Thus, we rejoice in this sure hope and continually delight in His sovereignty and care (1 Peter 5:7; Daniel 4:37). We praise and honor such a King. Securing such a future is our focus (1 Corinthians 15:58; Hebrews 3:18-19; 4:1-2, 11). LEARN MORE
